Aim & Scope

SMA 2020 will provide an excellent forum for addressing research issues of concern within the Smart Media and Applications. SMA 2020 concentrates on innovative solutions to complex problems in all areas of industry and sciences using advanced techniques in Smart Media and Computer Science Applications. It involves Smart Media, Smart Software Applications, Smart Information, Smart Services, and so on. Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to the Smart Media and Applications.

Topics will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:

Smart Information

  • Intelligent computers, cloud computing and distributed and parallel processing systems

  • Artificial intelligence, image processing, computer graphics, audio processing, multimedia and human computer interactions (HCI)

  • Big data, intelligence information processing, information security, mobile information communication and IoT

Contents/Services

  • Convergence/complex contents, game, animation, web/mobile and smart learning

  • Culture design, universal design, UI/UX, interaction design and information design

  • Design management, design marketing, design methodology and design theory

Smart Media

  • Media convergence, convergence/complex media and digital signage

  • Storytelling and production creation / transporting / publishing / marketing of media

Information Systems

  • Information system organization and management, e-business, ERP, CRM and SCM

  • Smart work, Social network, IT outsourcing and project management, Smart grid, AMI, Smart logistics

  • Smart life, Smart finance, Smart agriculture, Smart city and Smart transportation, Digital SOC, BIM

Paper Publication

All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a blind review process by at least three referees. All accepted papers will be published as an ACM proceeding and will be included in the ACM Digital Library. Extended versions of selected papers will be recommanded several International Journals (SCIE) as a special section for the SMA 2020.

Special Workshop/Track Proposal

In conjunction with the SMA 2020, a number of special workshops and tracks will be organized. Workshop/track proposals which should include "Title of the workshop/track", "Purpose of the workshop/track", "Short bios of organizers", "A tentative list of TPC", and "A tentative website address" are to be sent to the program chair, Prof. Jong-Hyouk Lee (email: jonghyouk at sejong.ac.kr) by July 1, 2020.
